searchable event log

SMTP Authentication

Many Internet Service Providers are starting to require SMTP authentication when sending messages through them to the Internet. eXchange POP3 now supports this feature. Some ISPs require you to login to your POP3 account before sending to authenticate your IP address as a valid address from which to send. This method of authentication is also supported.

New Internet Mail Downloading features

We've added even more features to our POP3 and IMAP message downloading technology:

support for special headers (X-ENVELOPE-TO, X-RCPT-TO, etc.) inserted in message by ISP used for routing
optional message size restriction on downloading messages
parallel downloading allowing more than one mailbox to processed at a time

New Rules Engine

The rules engine has been redesigned and now offers:

more conditions to choose from when specifying what conditions trigger a rule
more actions to choose from like removing specified attachments, insert text into message body, create notification messages and much more
ability to specify exceptions to the list of conditions

New Virus Scanning Architecture

Redesigned virus scanning architecture works with virtually any virus scanner on the market. eXchange POP3 allows you to use the virus scanner you already have chosen and trust for your organization to scan email messages before they are delivered to Exchange Server. For more information see FAQ: How To Setup Virus Scanning. In addition, you can quarantine infected messages to a special folder.

Custom Folders

Rules engine can now store messages into folders that you create. In addition, infected messages can be quarantined into a special Virus folder. See main features for more information.

Improved Queue Monitoring and Control

Many features have been added to queues. See main features for more information.

Wizard

Quick and easy installation and setup with eXchange POP3's Configuration Wizard. Just answer a few simple questions and the Wizard will do the rest.
